No One is Perfect

No One is Perfect.

NO ONE!

Especially not me. (see picture)

When I used to make one little mistake, I would throw a tantrum, hit the self destruct button, and blow my results to pieces.  I see so many people do the same thing every time they mess up.

Stop beating yourself up for gaining weight, or messing up on your diet, or not hitting the gym enough.

It happened. Move on.

I see the following happen WAY too often.

Someone has a bad day, eats a little too much, and gains a half a pound.

They start to beat themselves up about it and throw an internal pity party.

Next thing you know they are spiraling out of control eating THOUSANDS of calories!

Obviously this makes no sense.

You hit a speed bump, so you decide to blow up the car and burn it down.

NO!

Acknowledge the mistake.

Learn from it.

Forgive yourself.

MOVE FORWARD!

This is progress.

PROGRESSION is PERFECTION.

You are only human and all anyone can do is their best,

but your best will only improve if you learn from your mistakes!

You MUST commit to learning from your mistakes, because it is the only way to improve.

And the only way to reach new levels of fitness is to improve.

#1) Acknowledge you messed up.

#2) Learn the patterns of those mistakes to prevent them in the future.

#3) MOVE ON and MOVE FORWARD!

Stay Strong

Conner Day

I received this snapchat caught in the act of eating a
mega sandwich and a box of donuts in my Team Fitness shirt.
We all have bad days. Learn from it, let it go, and more forward!
Also, you don't have to eat "perfect" to see results, but
you must not let one bad day turn into
a bad week, month, or year.
